The Koblentz Group has been engaged by Delta Activewear, a $300 million dollar division of Delta Apparel, to find the new divisional VP of Human Resources.
This executive will lead cultural develop and implement strategic change, influencing and moving the culture to one of a proactive high performance leadership and development… with the full support of the CEO and parent company.
This is a critical role for Delta given its aggressive growth plans.
Accordingly, to achieve this end, the recruited individual will be expected to develop and execute a human capital strategic plan that seamlessly links the company’s overall strategic mission with its people. This means developing and implementing ongoing talent evaluation programs necessary to build/assure bench strength throughout the fabric of Delta’s organization, managing manufacturing operations from a human capital perspective, and collaborating with business leaders to implement and achieve strategic goals.
The successful candidate must also bring strong leadership skills necessary to enhance the efficiency/effectiveness of the HR function.
