The Koblentz Group has been engaged by the leadership of Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) to recruit a new CEO, Marina Bay Sands, in Singapore.

With the casino complete, the resort features a 2,561-room hotel, a 120,000 sq.m. convention-exhibition centre, The Shoppes mall, an Art & Science museum, two Sands Theatres, six “celebrity chef” restaurants, two floating pavilions, a casino with 500 tables and 1,600 slot machines. The complex is topped by a 340m-long SkyPark with a capacity of 3,900 people and a 150m infinity swimming pool, set on top of the world’s largest public cantilevered platform, which overhangs the north tower by 67m. The 20-hectare resort was designed by Moshe Safdie Architects.

This complex, which has opened in phases, employs about 10,000 which will increase to about 15,000 when this property is fully completed.

Reporting to the COO of LVS, the CEO of Marina Bay Sands will be fully responsible for all aspects of this property and all of its operating units.

Each aspect of this complex is led by a solid operating executives with gaming, hotels, entertainment, and real estate expeience, etc.

Additionally, this role has been described as, “a mayor of a town within a town”, and it will have a very important external aspect as the liaison and “ambassador” to the officials of Singapore.
